If you’re new to our application, follow these steps to create an account:
- Navigate to the Signup Page
- Open the application in your preferred web browser and click on the Sign Up or Create Account button on the login screen.
- Fill Out the Registration Form
- Enter the following required details:
- Full Name: Provide your full name.
- Email Address: Use your institutional or official email address.
- Employee ID: Input your unique employee identification number.
- Department: Specify your affiliated department.
- Position: Mention your role or designation.
- Password: Create a strong password for your account.
- Submit Your Registration
- After completing the form, click Sign Up. A brief loading indicator will appear as your account is processed.
- If the registration is successful, a confirmation message will appear: "Account created! Awaiting approval."
- Await Account Approval
- Your account will now require approval from the HOD/Director. You’ll receive a notification once your account has been approved, after which you can log in and start using the application.
After you’ve completed the above steps and received approval, return to the Login screen, enter your credentials, and click Log In to access your dashboard.
Logging In
This guide will walk you through the process of logging into your account, toggling between light and dark themes, and resetting your password if needed.
Login page
The login page is the gateway to your account. Here, you can enter your credentials (email and password) to access your dashboard, change your theme preference, or reset your password if you’ve forgotten it.
Features on the Login Page
- Login Form: Where you enter your email and password.
- Theme Toggle: Lets you switch between light and dark modes.
- Reset Password Option: For users who need to recover their account password.
- Home Navigation: Click on the home icon to return to the main homepage.
- Signup Option: For users who haven’t yet created an account.
Steps to Log In
1. Open the Login Page
- Description: Start by navigating to the Login page.
2. Enter Your Email Address
- Description: Click on the "Email" field and enter your registered email address.
3. Enter Your Password
- Description: Click on the "Password" field and enter your password.
4. Click the Login Button
- Description: Once you’ve entered your email and password, click the "Login" button to continue.
- If Successful: You’ll see a confirmation message and be redirected to your dashboard.
- If Unsuccessful: An error message will display if your credentials are incorrect.
Editing User Details
- Access Your Profile: Once logged in, navigate to the profile section of your account.
- Update Your Information: Edit your full name, department, position, employee ID, and level in the provided fields.
- Change Your Password (if needed): Enter your current password and the new password you wish to set.
- Save Changes: Click on the "Update Profile" button to save your changes. A confirmation message will appear to indicate success.
Any changes to profile details require approval from the HOD/Director.
Diagnostic Steps
If you encounter any issues with the application, follow these steps:
- Clear Browser Cache: Sometimes, old cached data can cause problems. Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
- Check Internet Connection: Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
- Verify Credentials: Double-check your email and password if you are having trouble logging in.
- Refresh the Page: If something is not displaying correctly, try refreshing the page.
- Use Supported Browsers: Ensure you are using a modern and supported web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
- Disable Browser Extensions: Some browser extensions can interfere with website functionality. Try disabling them temporarily.
- Contact Support: If issues persist after following these steps, contact the HOD/director.
Forgot Password
1. Select "Reset Password"
- Description: Below the login form, click the "Reset Password" link to start the password recovery process.
2. Enter Your Email Address
- Description: A new form will appear. Enter your email address and click "Send Reset Email."
3. Check Your Email for Instructions
- Description: You’ll receive an email with instructions to reset your password. Follow the link to create a new password.
Unable to find account?
1. Select "Sign Up Here"
