Q2. How do I get started with QuickLeave?

A: To get started, sign in with your institutional email to access your dashboard, where you can apply for leave, view substitute assignments, and manage approvals. For more details, see our Getting Started Guide.

Account and Profile

Q3. How do I create an account?

A: You can create an account by signing up on QuickLeave. Once you submit your registration details, your account will need to be approved by an administrator. After approval, you’ll be able to access the application fully.

Q4. Can I customize my user profile?

A: Yes, you can update your profile information. Go to your account settings in the dashboard to make changes. These changes only come into play once HOD approves it.

Using the Application

Q5. How do I apply for leave in QuickLeave?

A: To apply for leave, go to the "Apply for Leave" section on your dashboard, complete the required information, and submit. The application will automatically notify relevant approvers and substitutes.

Q6. Can I view my leave status?

A: Yes, you can view the status of your leave applications under the "My Leaves" section. The status will indicate if your leave is pending, approved, or denied.

Security and Privacy

Q7. How is my data secured in QuickLeave?

A: We prioritize your data security. QuickLeave uses Firebase's secure infrastructure, including data encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your information. Firebase also offers strong access controls to ensure only authorized users have access.

A: Our data privacy policy ensures that your information is handled responsibly, in compliance with best practices and privacy regulations. Since QuickLeave is built on Firebase, we also benefit from Firebase's rigorous data protection measures.

Troubleshooting

Q9. I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

A: You can reset your password by clicking on the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. Follow the instructions sent to your email. HODs can reset passwords for users by simply clicking a reset link button in the Admin panel.

Q10. I’m having issues with substitute assignments. What should I do?

A: If substitute assignments aren’t displaying correctly, try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, contact support for assistance.
